Nora McKeon, Rome Three University and Terra Nuova

Nora McKeon joined the UN Food and Agriculture Organizations and directed its relations with civil society. She now engages in research, advocacy and  teaching (Rome 3 University) around food systems and governance, peasant movements, and UN-civil society relations. Publications include:  Peasant Organizations in Theory and Practice (UNRISD 2004), Strengthening UN Dialogue with People’s Movements (UN NGLS 2009), The United Nations and Civil Society: Legitimating Global Governance-Whose Voice? (Zed 2009), and Food Security Governance: empowering communities, regulating corporations (Routledge 2015).
