John Gerard Phyne, St. Francis Xavier University Antigonish, Nova Scotia Canada

John Phyne is a Professor in the Department of Sociology at St. Francis Xavier University in Antigonish, Nova Scotia, Canada. For much of his career, he has researched the political economy of th global salmon aquaculture industry. His current research deals with the political economy of slum clearance and urban renewal in his native St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada.
